دکھ یہ کیسا جو تیری یاد کا دکھ
How sad is the sorrow that is of your memory

غم کا دریا ہے تیری یاد کا دکھ
River of grief is the sorrow of your memory

آنکھ ویران  دل پشیماں ہے
The eye is desolate and heart is remorseful

 ایسا لگتا ہے تیری یاد کا دکھ
It seems as it is the sorrow of your memory

رسمِ ساقی بھی نبھائی ہم نے
We also performed the bartender's ritual

کون سمجھا ہے تیری یاد کادکھ
Who understood the sorrow of your memory?

شامِ غم  شام و سحر ہے یہ بھی
The evening of grief is the evening and the dawn

جہاں جیسا ہے تیری یاد کا دکھ
The sorrow of your memory is like this universe

چل پڑے ہیں قزافی جہاں سے
Gaddafi, we are started leaving from this world
