سوتا اٹھ کہ کوئی  نیں خوش ہندا
Nobody becomes happy at awakening (alerting) him 

بڑے سوتے جگا کہ ویکھیا اے
I Have seen by awakening many

کتے جہیا نہ کوئی  وفادار ڈیٹھا
There is no one faithful like a dog

ٹکر سکا وی پا کہ ویکھیا اے
I have seen tossing a piece of bread to him 

تے طوطا جدوں وی جھڈیاں اڈ جاندا
And a Parrot fly away whenever you set him free 

کیایاں چوریاں پا کہ ویکھیا اے
I have seen giving grains of sweets

ڈنگ مار نوں کدے نیں سپ ریندا
Snake never misses a chance to sting

کیایاں دودھ پیا کہ ویکھیا اے
People have seen presenting milk to him

بن مطلبوں کوئی نیں یار بن دا
Nobody becomes friend without any reason 

تے بڑے یار بنا کہ ویکھیا اے
