الف الست سُنا دل میرے
My heart listened the Kalma
of truthness

جِند بلےٰ کوکیندی ھُو
My body calls him, Ho

حُب وطن دی غالب ہوئی
The love of homeland
captivated me

اک پل سون نہ دیندی ھُو
It doesn't allow me
to sleep for a moment, Ho

قہر پَوّے اس رہزن دنیا
May the curse fall on
this fraud world

حق دا راہ مریندی ھُو
It stops the path
of righteousness

عاشق مُول قُبول نہ باھُو
The lover doesn't accept it
at any expense

زار و زار رویندی ھُو
It makes him moan

اللہ ہو
Allah HO

اوہو نفس اسڈا بیلی
This spirit (instinct) is
(our companion (allusion

نال جو ساڈے سدّھا ھُو
Which always  lives with us

جو کوئی اُس دی کرے سواری
Whoever rides it (controls it)

نام اللّه اُس لدّھا ھُو
(He finds the truth (God

زاہد عابد آن نِواۓ
God-fearing and worshipers
reach there

ٹکڑا ویکھن تِھدھا ھُو
Wherever they see butter-bread

راہ فقر دا مشکل باھُو
The path of the mendicant
(spirituality-searcher)
is a difficult one

گھر نہ سِیرا رِدّھا ھُو
Even homemade bread
isn't in his fate
