Roti Ankhen

اُجڑی بستی اُجڑا  آنگن
سورج غم کا ڈھلتاکب ہے

Inhabitancy is desolated Courtyard 
of my house is desolated too
When the sun of grief sets? 

دل میں ٹپکا غم کا آنسو

آنسو غم کا دل میں ضم ہے

(Once) The tear of sorrow  dripped in my heart
Now this tear of sorrow is settled (fixed) in my heart

 دکھ دنیا کے دنیا جانے 

میرا دکھ تو تیرا غم ہے

This world better knows their grieves, 
My sorrow is only your grief 

جہاں بنا ہے مرے لیے تو

کہاں تھا میں اس جہاں سے پہلے

If this universe is created for me
Then Where I was before this universe

میری الفت زونا قاسم 

غم کا باسی اکیلا  تن ہے

Although My love is beauty, Qasim 
Still the house of grief is 
only my heart (body)
