‏Do Ghariyan Ruk Ja Takdeeray گھڑیاں دو روک جا نی تقدیرے Kalam Baba Bulleh Shah Punjabi Poetry

گلاں چوں گل تے کوئی نئیں

It was not as such a big thing (story, issue

تسی گل دی گل بنا چھوڑی

That you have created it a big issue

اساں جتنی گل ُمکاندے رئے

As (much) I am tried to close the matter,

تسی اتنی گل  ودھا چھوڑی

You are trying to make it a grand issue

اساں نِت خلوص دی چھاں کیتی

I always provided shadow of sincerity on you

تساں جھڑکاں نال ونجا چھوڑی

And you dissolved it by chide

اساں لوکاں نال مُکاندے رئے

I destroyed my relations with people for the sake

تساں ساڈھے نال مُکا چھوڑی

And you destroyed your relationship  (finished) with me

عین عشق دے محکمے میں وڑیا

I stepped in the court of love

اگوں عشق نے میری رسائی لُٹ لئی

Love robbed out my existence

میں تے گیَاں ساں عشق دی داد خاطر

I entered in a court of love

for the sake of appreciation

پر اُس نے میری دانائی لُٹ لئی

But love robbed my wisdom

عشق لُٹ دا پیغمبراں ولیاں نُوں

Love robs Prophets and blessed people

کئیاں بادشاہاں دی بادشاہی لُٹ لئی

Love took away the kingdom of many kings

 تیرا کی لُٹیا اَجئے بُلھیا وے

What love has taken away from you, Bulleha

اِس عشق خُدا دی خُدای لُٹ

This love Plundered the divinity of God

دو گھڑیاں رک جا تقدیرے

Please destiny do not spoil away for a while

مینوں لگیاں توڑ نبھا لین دے

Let me complete my friendship

آج مکدے ہوئے ساون لئی،

Today, before taking last breathe

دو دل دے بول سنا لین دے

Let me confess what is in my heart

اوہنے ساری حیاتی آزمایا اے

My paramour tested me in the entire life

اج مینوں یار آزما لین دے

Let me test my paramour once

میں جان ہوالے کر دے ساں

I will surrender my life to you

ایس جان دا مالک آ لین دے

Let the owner of this body (life) come.
