نگاہ مرشد کامل سے عشق مصطفے ﷺ حاصل
The love of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) is
assessable through the benevolent eyes of Murshid
خدا کا قرب دیتی ہے محبت پیر خانے کی
Love of Murshid gives the closeness of God
عشق میں ایسی کرامت نہیں دیکھی ہم نے
،We have not seen such a miracle in love
رُوبرُو یار ہو اور ہوش میں دیوانہ رہے
That lover is in front of the eyes
and Berserk remain in senses
ایک پل کسی خواہش کی زیارت کو اُٹھے تھے
For a moment, he woke up for
the vision of a wish
اندر کے قلندر نے بڑی دیر نچایا
The Qalandar inside insisted
to dance for a long time
اگر حقیقت الفت سے باخبر ہوتے
If we would be aware of the truth of love
فرشتے آرزو کرتے کہ ہم بشر ہوتے
The angels would wish to be humans
غربت نہ دے سکی میرے ضمیر کو شکست
Poverty could not defeat my conscience
جھک کر کسی امیر سے ملتا نہیں ہوں میں
I do not bow down to meet any rich man
شام سے آنکھ میں نمی سی ہے
There is moisture in the eyes
since the evening
آج پھر آپ کی کمی سی ہے
Today I am missing you again
ہم نے ہر غم سے نکھاری ہیں تمہاری یادیں
We have rejuvenated your
memories with every sorrow
ہم کوئی تم تھے کہ وابستہء غم ہو جاتے
We were not you that we would
associate ourself with grief
