2021 Kalaam Waris Shah | New Punjabi Kalam 2021 | Waris Shah Poetry

عین عشق جنہاں نوں لگ جاند.ا
People who fall in real fondness
او سک جاندے وانگ کانیاں دے.
They become slender like a plant of straw
کج سک جاندے کج مک جاندے.
Some become slender and some die
 کج خلقت دے نال طعنیاں دے.
With the sarcasm of people
 کسے عشق دا ناں بدنام کیتا.
Some undignified the name of love
کج سڑ گئے وانگ پروانیاں دے.
And some burned like a dwarf
وارث شاہ عشق دے بجھے نئیں چُھٹدے.
Waris Shah lovers cant get freedom
چُھٹ جاندے قیدی جیل خانیاں دے.
A prisoner may get freedom from prison
پہلاں رب نوں یار دا شوق لگا
The lover found love for paramour first
نبی پاک دا کرن جمال مائیں.
To see the elegance of Prophet Muhammad SAW
آیا وحی لے کے ہویا فورا حاضر.
With Revelation, the angel came immediately
لیا یار نے یار نوں پال مائیں.
The paramour made his paramour his own
آمو سامنے رج کے ویکھے اونہیں.
He saw his face to face at his fill
گلاں کیتیاں فرق نہ وال مائیں.
And they talked with each other
 and there was no separation
ہور دلاں دیاں لئیاں تے دتیاں نے.
They shared their heart and speak
ذات اک ہوئی ذات نال مائیں
His entity became one with his own entity
