یا مرے رب مرے اسباب بنانے والے
O God (Lord), the  Creator of resources

اپنی قدرت سے یہ مہتاب بنانے والے
Creator of this moon by His nature (Power)

شب کے آنچل پہ ستاروں کو سجایا تو نے
You decorated the stars on the fringe of the evening

دن نکلنے کو بھی شاداب بنانے والے
The Maker of the sun rising fresh and crisp 

مری کشتی کا نگہبان ہے تو ہی مولا
You are the Guardian of my boat Lord

کبھی دریا کبھی گرداب بنانے والے
The Maker of the river and vortex

مرے کشکول کو بھر دے تو کرم سے مالک
Fill my bowl (beggar's bowl) with Your
benevolence, O Lord
دل کے ہجرے  کوبھی سہراب بنانے والے 
The Maker of light-hearted a braver  

منتظر ہیں ترے کن کے اشارے کے فقط
We are just desperately waiting for Your
order "let it be done" Lord

میری آنکھوں میں نئے خواب بنانے والے
The Creator of new dreams in my eyes 

آسماں چاند ستاروں سے کیا ہے روشن
You have enlightened the sky with moon and stars

خاک کے فرش کو پایاب بنانے والے
The One who stabled the floor of dust 

کبریائی کے اسی ذات کو زیبا شاکر
Highest position only suits
to The Lord (Allah), Shakir

سنگ کو گوہر نایاب بنانے والے
Who can turn ordinary stones into gem-pearls
