Zindagi Na tamam Hai Shayad

کسی کی آنکھ بھی کھلتی ہے تو سونے کی نگری میں

 کسی کو گھر بنانے میں زمانے بیت جاتے ہیں

Someone borns in a valley of Gold

Someone takes years to build a simple home

کوئی سجدے میں گر جاتا ہے تو پا لیتا ہے رب کو 

کسی کو لو لگانے میں زمانے بیت جاتے ہیں

Someone finds closeness of God by simply falling in prostration 
Someone spends years in conceiving truth

 زندگی نا تمام ہے شاید

موت وقفے کا نام ہے شاید

Life is incomplete may be
May be death is name of a break (pause)

ایسا محسوس ہو رہا ہے کوئی

خواب میں ہمکلام ہے شاید

I am feeling as if someone
Is talking to me in  dream, maybe 

دل کی ھڑکن وجود ہے اس کا

سانس اس کا پیام ہےشاید

The beat of the heart is her existence,
And this breathing is her directive (message), may be 

ایک سفاک آنکھ کا مطلب

ایک بھر پقر جام ہے شاید

One ruthless eye, 
Is equal to one full cup of wine, may be 

پی گیا ہے جو میرا حصہ بھی

شیخ عالی مقام ہے شاید

One who has drunk my cup of wine too, 
maybe, Supreme Sheikh, he is 

رہنما ساتھ دے نہیں سکتے

راہ رو تیز گام ہے شاید

The guides (leaders) can't stand along (help out)
The path is expeditor maybe  

کتنی ضو ہے عدم کے چہرے پر

غیر رسمی امام ہے شاید

How much brightness is on Adam's face 

He is informal (unofficial ) Imam maybe
