Kitni Mushkil Hoi | Sufi Kalam 

کتنی مشکل ہوئی تعمیر اٹھانے کے لیے

How difficult it was to build


تم چلے آئے ہو دیوار گرانے کے لیے

And you have come to tumble down the wall


میری مٹی کسی صحرا کے حوالے کر دو

Hand over (surrender) my soil to a desert,

کام آئے کسی مجنوں کے اڑانے کے لیے

So it may become useful for

some Demented for blowing


ہم کو موسیٰ کی بصارت کی ضرورت ہوگی

We would need vision of Moses


اُس کی تصویر کو آنکھوں میں سجانے کے لیے

To decorate His picture in the eyes


کیا یہی سوچ کے تو نے تھا بنایا مجھکو؟

Is that what you thought before creating me



ہاتھ اٹھانے کے لیے، سر کو جھکانے کے کیے

So that I raise hand (in front

of you) and bow my head



اس نے پھر لا کے کہیں بیچ میں جنت رکھ دی

Then He picked the heaven and

 placed it in the middle

خود کو اک دوسرے پردے میں چھپانے کے لیے

To hide Himself behind another veil



اب تو وہ کوئی بہانے نہیں آتا کاشٓف

Now, he does not come with

any excuse (reason), Kashif

پہلے آتا تھا مجھے چھوڑ کے جانے کے لیے

Before that, He used to come to leave me
