اندر وی ھو تے باہر وی ھو،باہو کِتھاں لبھیوے ھو ۔
He is inside, he is outside
then from where Baho can be found

سَے ریاضتاں کراہاں توڑے،خون جگر دا پیوے ھو ۔
I try hundreds of times and present
the blood of the liver for a drink too

لکھ ہزار کتاباں پڑھ کے،دانشمند سدیوے ھو ۔
After reading a thousand books
they call himself wiser

نام فقیر تنہاندا باہو،قبر جنہاں دی جیوے ھو ۔
...they are true tramp (worthy people) the
grave of those who are alive

مذہباں دے دروازے اچے راہ ربّانا موری ہو
The doors of religion are very
high, the door of God is a small hole

پنڈت تے ملواڑے کولوں چھپ چھپ لنگھے چوری ہو
And these tramps pass through pandits
 and Mulvies hiddenly

اڈیاں مارن کرن بکھیڑے درد منداں دے کھوری ہو
These people strike with heels
and give pain to lovers, Ho

باہوؔ چل ادھائی وسیے دعہوا نہ جتھ ہوری ھو
Lets Baho go there where there is
no claimer (strife), Ho

‏عاشقاں ہِکو وُضو جو کیتا‘ روز قیامت تائیں ھُو
Lovers, do the ablution that
is done till the Day of Judgment, Ho

وِچ نماز رکوع سجودے‘ رہندے سنج صباحیں ھُو
They remain in the prayer from the morning, noon, and evening, Ho
اَیتھے اوتھے دوہیں جہانیں‘ سبھ فقر دِیاں جائیں ھُو
This and that, both worlds are of lovers, Ho

عرش کولوں سَے منزل اَگے
The destination is Far away from this world

 باھوؒ، پیا کم تنہائیں ھُو
Baho, this work is of loneliness

آپ نہ طالب ہین کہیں دے لوکاں طالب کر دے ہُو
They are seekers but ask to seek something from them, Ho

چاون کھیپاں کر دے سیپاں قہر توں ناہیں ڈر دے ہُو
They take a portion of grains at the end of both summer and winter and are not afraid of the wrath

عِشق مجازی تِلکن بازی پیر اولّے دھر دے ہُو
The lust of this world is a slippery path, keep the foot carefully 

اوہ شرمندے ہوسن باہو اندر روز حشر دے ہو
They will become disgraceful on doomsday, Baho
