Hazrat Bedam Shah Warsi's real name was Siraj-u-din but in some books his name conflict between Siraj-u-din and Ghulam Hussain. Bedam was his pen name which was given by his mentor and after that, he was called Bedam Shah Warsi.

He was born in 1876 in utawa India and he spent a very simple life. he completed his education in utawa ,then his passion for poetry took him to agra and there he joined the company of Hazrat shah Akbar dana pori and Shakir Rasheed Nisar Akbar Abadi.

In this period he gets poetry classes from Nisar Akbar Abadi and Warsi pleasure as well. his murshid name was haji Waris Ali shah who gave him the knowledge of truthful light also he get attention on naat writing and whenever he rote something, he said his poetry first in astan-e-warsi then somewhere else .his books names are Armaghan Bedam , Muhsaf bedam

He died in 1963 at Hussain ganj lakhnao india . according to his last wish, they took his body to dewa sharif where his funeral got done in awais graveyard.
